Locked Down!

So the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.
Jonah 2:10

Jonah disobeyed God’s instructions and went in another direction.

Jonah 1:17 says, ‘The Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.’

Do you feel like you are in a situation like Jonah? Caged in, fear all around , turmoil, no way of escape?

Isaiah, the prophet, came to King Hezekiah with a message from God, asking him to get his house in order for he was going to die. Hezekiah responded by praying, weeping bitterly and reminding God how he had walked in truth and done what was right in God’s sight. Isaiah had not even left the palace, when he came back to tell the king that God had heard his prayer, seen his tears and was adding fifteen years to his life.
